mojoo™ / Sparring

mojoo™ Sparring

Not a coach. Not an agency. A sparring partner for your brand communication — someone who steps into the ring with you, hits honestly and fights on your side.

Why "sparring partner"?

A sparring partner doesn't go easy on you — but he is on your side. He knows your strengths, exposes your blind spots and makes you better before it counts.

The coach

Asks.

Coaching has its value — but too often it stays in the seminar room. Lots of questions, little conviction. In the end you are supposed to find the answer yourself, even when time is running out.

The agency

Takes over.

The agency delivers — as long as you pay. The knowledge stays outside, the dependency grows. And at some point your brand sounds like the agency, not like you.

The sparring partner

Trains with you.

A sparring partner is in the ring with you: he has an opinion of his own, tells you clearly — and trains with you until it sticks. The skill stays with you. That is exactly what mojoo™ Sparring is.

A good sparring partner tells you what the mirror won't.

The sparring fields.

From the person to the product: six fields we train in together. Bookable individually — in practice they interlock.

Field 01 · Person

1:1 sparring for owners & executives

You are the face of your company. We sharpen your positioning as an entrepreneur and build your public presence — confidential, direct, and without bending you out of shape.

  • Personal positioning & core messages
  • A LinkedIn presence built on system, not chance
  • First posts written together — with feedback, no ghostwriting
  • Confidential exchange on leadership & communication questions
Field 02 · Brand

Positioning & brand strategy

What does your company stand for — in one sentence your customers understand and your employees would sign? We work on it until it holds.

  • Assessment: how are you perceived today?
  • Positioning against competitors & commoditization
  • A value promise that goes beyond price
  • A brand strategy that fits on one page
Field 03 · Message

Brand communication & storytelling

You have plenty of substance — now it needs a language. We develop messages, tone of voice and stories that fit your business: honest instead of glossy.

  • Core messages for customers, candidates & partners
  • Tone of voice & language guide for the whole company
  • Stories from the shop floor that stick
  • Channel strategy: where you show up — and where you deliberately don't
Field 04 · Content

Content & LinkedIn strategy

Visibility is a practice, not a campaign. We build a content system that works alongside the day-to-day — and pays into your brand week after week.

  • Content formats that fit the person & the business
  • An editorial routine: planned instead of "when there's time"
  • Review & feedback on real posts
  • Measurability: inquiries instead of likes

Thinking about your whole team? Then mojoo™ Ambassadors is the way to go.

Field 05 · Product

Product marketing

Your product is better than its presentation. We translate technical strength into customer value — so it's no longer just the price that decides, but the worth.

  • Value arguments instead of spec-sheet prose
  • Go-to-market for new products & variants
  • Value communication: justifying price instead of defending it
  • Sales materials your sales team actually uses
Field 06 · Services

Service marketing

A service is invisible until someone experiences it — or talks about it. We make your service tangible, incomparably comparable and easier to buy.

  • Productize your service: clear packages instead of "it depends"
  • Proof of trust: references, insights, results
  • Proposal & first-meeting dramaturgy
  • Systematic referrals instead of hoping for them

How the sparring works.

Good sparring has rules and a rhythm. Ours runs in four rounds — and always starts with no obligation.

Round 01Sizing up

Intro call — no obligation

We listen: where does your company stand, what keeps you up at night, where does it pinch? No pitch, no slides, happy to meet at your place. If we are not the right partner, we will tell you — and who you should ask instead.

Round 02Checking the guard

Assessment

How are you perceived today — by customers, candidates, the market? We measure your communication honestly and show you the blind spots. The result is yours, regardless of what happens next.

Round 03Ring free

Sparring sessions

Now the training starts: regular sessions in the agreed fields — via video call or on site. With clear opinions, direct feedback and homework between sessions. You do the work, we push back.

Round 04Fighting shape

Implementation & routine

What you trained moves into everyday practice: routines, reviews, accountability. We stay on it until it runs without us — because our goal is that one day you no longer need us.

One rule applies in every round: What is said in the ring stays in the ring. Confidentiality goes without saying — and is guaranteed in writing.

Three formats.

Entry

The Session

An intensive half or full day on one concrete question: positioning, offering, product launch. You leave with clear decisions — not a to-do list for later.

½–1 day · on site or remote
Focus

The Sprint

Four to twelve weeks of concentrated sparring in one field — for example your personal presence or the repositioning of a service. With a fixed rhythm and a defined outcome.

4–12 weeks · fixed rhythm
Partnership

Ongoing Sparring

Your sparring partner in your corner: monthly strategy sessions, reviews of your communication and a direct line for whatever comes up. For as long as it serves you.

ongoing · cancel monthly

Terms, as always with mojoo: fixed price up front, one contact from start to finish, no minimum terms beyond what was agreed. The concrete proposal follows after the intro call.

Handshake — confidentiality in sparring
Confidentiality

What is said in the ring stays in the ring.

Sparring puts things on the table that are discussed nowhere else: numbers, doubts, plans, people questions. That only works with absolute confidentiality — which is why, with us, it is not a platitude but a contractual guarantee. From the very first conversation.

And one more promise: You spar with the same person throughout. Trust cannot be delegated.

Who it's for — and who it isn't

Sparring only works for the right people.

That is not a platitude, it is experience: whether sparring pays off depends on two things — your company's setup and your attitude. Both belong on the table before we start. Which is why they are here, not buried in the fine print.

Dimension 1

The setup

The hard facts under which sparring delivers its effect:

  • Established mid-market, owner-led or close to the owner — typically 10 to 250 employees. Big enough for real communication challenges, small enough for short paths.
  • An established core business — you have been in the market for years and know what you live on. We position substance; we don't search for a business model.
  • Decision-makers in the ring — the owner or managing director sits at the table personally. Sparring across three layers of hierarchy does not work.
  • Time for the ring — realistically 2 to 4 hours per week during active phases. If you have no time to train, you won't get better in the fight either.
Dimension 2

The attitude

The soft factor that, in the end, decides more than any company size:

  • Open to the outside view — you bring in a sparring partner because you want an honest second opinion. Not to have your own confirmed.
  • Willing to show up in person — visibility cannot be delegated. You are prepared to appear as a person, not just as a logo.
  • Criticism is training, not an insult — you can take a hit, catch your breath and adjust your guard.
  • Staying power instead of a silver bullet — you know market trust is built over months, not overnight. Anyone chasing "viral" should look elsewhere.
  • Clarity — or the will to find it — you don't need all the answers. But you want to find them, even when it gets uncomfortable.
Honesty is part of sparring

Where it fails.

  • Advice resistance: every question triggers a speech for the defense — then we train against each other instead of with each other.
  • The delegation reflex: "You do it, I'll take a look later." Sparring without you in the ring is shadowboxing.
  • Quick-fix expectations: anyone expecting measurable market leadership in four weeks will be disappointed by every serious partner.
  • Price as the only criterion: if the decision comes down to the cheapest provider, that is not us — and we stand by that.

Why we write this so openly: Every sparring engagement that doesn't fit costs you money and us reputation. We would rather sort honestly up front — then every intro call is one that is worth it for both sides.

The self-check

Eight statements. How often do you nod?

No form, no data capture — just an honest look in the mirror. Check what applies to you.
